Our Training Classes

Our training classes focus on building a strong foundation of skills that allow for public access training and service dog work in general. Our Beginner class focuses on teaching the dogs the meaning of core commands such as sit, down, wait, stay, come, and leave it. Our Intermediate class works on these fundamental skills and challenging the dogs with these skills in longer time frames. Our advanced class focuses on continuing the fundamentals while building the additional skills that a service dog needs to assist their handler as well as teaching the specific tasks that help mitigate the handler's disability. Our advanced class also has classes out in the community that work specifically on public access skills and socializing the dogs to new experiences in addition to the core classes. The field trips out into the community go anywhere in the public to work on socialization and interaction with the public. These trips can be anywhere such as grocery stores, the mall, hospitals, the airport, restaurants, garage sales, etc. Our basic obedience classes focus on the core obedience skills learned alongside the service dog teams.
